⚠ Template — complete the [bracketed] values and have it reviewed by a lawyer before publishing.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CrewHub websites, web application and desktop software (together, the "Service") provided by [PUBLISHER LEGAL NAME]. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Simulation only — no real-world use

CrewHub is a flight-simulation hobby platform for entertainment purposes only. It is not certified aviation software. Nothing in the Service may be used for, or relied upon in, real-world flight planning, navigation or operations. All "flights", "airlines", "money", "fleets" and similar are virtual.

2. Eligibility & account

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. User content & liveries

You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g. liveries, texts), and you grant us a licence to host and distribute it within the Service for its operation. You confirm you have the rights to any content you upload. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

5. Third-party services

The Service integrates optional third parties (e.g. SimBrief, Discord, IVAO/VATSIM/POSCON, the Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane ecosystems). Their own terms apply; we are not responsible for them.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, branding and content (excluding your user content and third-party assets) are owned by [PUBLISHER LEGAL NAME] and protected by law. Desktop software is licensed, not sold — see the EULA.

7. Availability & changes

The Service is provided on a best-effort, hobby basis and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without liability.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [PUBLISHER LEGAL NAME] shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. consumer rights, gross negligence).

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time; see the Privacy Policy for data deletion.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / FRANCE], without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes fall under the courts of [JURISDICTION] where permitted.
